anon...i am the type of person, who looks and asks...i have done both...i met bernadette's older sister, and she was equally as beautiful as bern..and ya know...some people don't need to do all that...like who...susan sarandon for one, who is as old if not older...goldie, maybe botox, but no lifts, bette, there are many...so please believe me...bernadette is not only natural in her physical being but in her spiritual one too...

Bliss,
I love reading your posts. I am so thankful that you take the time out of your busy schedule to update us, set the record straight, or make a young girls dream come true. You are one awesome person. I hope to thank you in person when I make the trek from Texas to NYC to see the show. Thanks again for being a part of this group.

Hey Bliss! Hope you're having a great time on the stage! I'll be seeing you in October, so if you spy a dark-haired, short, bouncy girl at the stage door clamouring for an autograph, you'll know it's me.

I think people just like to ruminate over what stars have and have not done, artificially, because we all have this desperate hope that people on TV and in movies are as pretty as they are because... well, they were born that pretty, and they've aged gracefully. I know when I think of Michelle Pfiefer being, what? 43 now? I start to feel kind of old myself. A lot of us spend so much time following some of our favorite celebrities (and why not? just about everything we do is marketed around them) that I think we start to mark our own age and appearances by how they're getting on in age and appearing. It's nice to think, "Oh, she's beautiful at 55 because she's got good genes. Maybe *I'LL* have good genes at that age, too, and look that good." I suppose it's just depressing to think our favorite people won't remain naturally beautiful forever. Because if *THEY* can't, how can we?

But if you say Bernadette has never had anything done, well, then I believe you. You know her, and so I believe you. I think she's gorgeous regardless, and has an incredible voice, and I would step on my own mother to have hair like that... Hee.

Anyway. No need for explanations, as I see it. Everything important about Bernadette has nothing to do with how she's aged.

I refuse to respond to any of these "Has Bernadette had plastic surgery" remarks; but I just wanted to second/third/whatever the notion of starting a fan site for Kate. That's a really fun idea.

Hi guys--

I have to agree with Bliss. I have known Bernadette for 4...almost 5 years now and have seen her on a pretty regular basis within that time so you'd think I'd notice if she had any of the stuff done that "anonymous" has stated. I have never asked her flat out( and never would ...because that's just not me) but no, I really don't think she's ever had plastic surgery. If she's had all the stuff that "Anonymous" said she has had then why would she work out so much, eat so healthy....ect. Yes, eventhough one might have had plastic surgery one still needs to maintain that look but Bernadette prides herself on looking good naturally. I really don't think I have met anyone who knows more about staying healthy and is more health conscious then Bernadette and Michael. I have met Donna (her sister) several times and like Bliss said she is gorgeous and looks a lot younger than she is as well. Actually, she looks better now than the first time I met her. I think a lot of Bernadette's youthfulness has to do with her outlook on life and her attitude. She's a very positive person, a very refelctive/deep thinking person, has a lot of enthusiasm and passion for life and a person with a lot of compassion and love for others so I think that definitely comes across in her looks.

"Anonymous" I don't know if you actually know Bernadette since you haven't stated whether you do or not. My guess is that you don't. But if you do chances are you don't know her well or are not very respectful of one's wish to have privacy. People who know Bernadette know how important her privacy is to her. Eventhough she is a very private person she is also a very honest person. I've also noticed that most, if not all, people that truly know her respect her enormously and therefore wouldn't go stating on a public forum about any plastic surgery she may have had done.

You also stated:"If you were to go to lunch with a few actresses (even those much younger than Bernadette), you would hear then speaking very honestly about what they have had done, and discussing which surgeon does the best this or the best that."

Well, that's just not Bernadette. She'd most likely be talking about the latest exercize craze or what foods are beneficial and what foods are bad for you.

Anonymous you said: "If you think someone can naturally look like that at 55, you're naive. " Well, then I guess I am naive because my Mom is the same age as Bernadette and doesn't look her age either (she looks younger) and my Mom has not had any plastic surgery. My aunt is in her 60s and she looks like she is in her mid-40s. No one ever believes it when they find out how old she really is. Plastic surgery is pretty easy to spot when your face to face with someone. And I can tell you...I never thought for a minute that Bernadette looks like she's ever had plastic surgery.

Don't be so sure that just because Bernadette doesn't post here that she doesn't know what people are saying....She may not go online very often but I know a lot of her very close friends do as well as family and they can find this website just as easily as you did.
